Consider a resolution requesting authorization of a DPS expenditure of $2700.00 from
the Municipal Court Building Security Fund for the purchase of a video security system
for the building where court is off iced.
Staff recommends approval.
These funds were established for the purpose of providing needed security services for
court. Large amounts of money are handled in the court office, carried across the
parking lot to the finance department and taken to the bank each evening for security.
Also, unacceptable behavior would be recorded and used as evidence should subsequent
prosecution be deemed necessary.

11017', TAEI'�UFOi , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEJ
OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: That the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake does hereby
authorize a DPS expenditure of $2700.00 from the Municipal Court Building Fund for
the purchase of a video security system for the building where the court if officed.
SECTION 2: That this Resolution shall become effective upon the date of its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED ON THIS 11TH DAY OF JUNE, 2001.
