RESOLUTION NO.
Approving Rates for Electric Service
WHEREAS, Tri -County Electric Cooperative, Inc. filed
with the City of Westlake, on April 22, 1993, pursuant to
the requirements of the Public Utility Regulatory Act, a
Statement of Intent to change its rates system -wide and a
Petition for Authority to Change Rates requesting the City of
Westlake to approve implementation of the change in rates
within the corporate limits of the City of Westlake; and
WHEREAS, Tri -County Electric Cooperative, Inc. filed
simultaneously with the Public Utility Commission of TExas
the same Statement of Intent and Petition for Authority to
Change Rates requesting the Commission to approve
implementation of the change in rates within areas within the
original jurisdiction of the Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Public Utility Commission of Texas has
approved revised rates for Tri -County Electric Cooperative,
Inc. applicable in areas outside the City of Westlake which
are less than the rates Tri -County Electric Cooperative, Inc.
originally field as proposed rates and which is may now
charge within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Westlake has
reviewed the rate request and the rates approved the Public
Utility Commission of Texas and filed with the City of
Westlake and finds said rates reasonable and lawful;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
The tariff sheets and rate schedules approved by the
Public Utility Commission of Texas in Public Utility
Commission Docket 11977, and made a part hereof by reference,
are approved for implementation within the City of Westlake
on all bills issued subsequent to the 1st day of November,
1993.
