RESOLUTION APPROVING THE LOCATION OF A TOWN HALL,
THE LOCATION OF PUBLIC POSTING PLACES, AND THE
DESIGNATION OF THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER FOR THE TOWN
WHEREAS, the Town of Westlake has entered into a lease with
Maguire/Thomas Partners - Westlake/Southlake Partnership for the
lease of space to serve as a Town Hall; and
WHEREAS, as a result of leasing said space it is necessary
for the Town to redesignate the three public posting places for
the Town; and
WHEREAS, the Town is further desirous of redesignating the
official newspaper for the Town of Westlake; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE,
TEXAS:
(1) That the second floor of 3 Village Circle in the
Village Retail Center known generally as Solana within the
Town of Westlake, Texas, including Suite 207, the hallway or
passageway from the outside doors on the second floor of 3
Village Circle to Suite 207, and the exterior walls outside
the two (2) glass doors on the second floor is hereby
designated as the Town Hall for the Town of Westlake, Texas,
and the Town of Westlake, Texas, will conduct its meetings
at such location unless designated otherwise in the notice
of any meeting of the Board of Aldermen or any other Board
or Commission of the Town.
(2) That the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake,
Texas, does hereby designate the three following public
places as the public posting places for the Town of
Westlake:
a. The bulletin board on the side of the road at
the Dudley Ranch, 1650 West Dove Road,
Westlake, Texas 76262;
b. The bulletin board by the side of the road at
the Bradley Ranch, 2275 Precinct Line Road,
Westlake, Texas 76262; and
C. The notice boards on the exterior walls or
the two (2) glass doors entering the
passageway of the second floor of 3 Village
Circle, Village Retail Center, Solana,
Westlake, Texas 76262.
(3) The Board of Aldermen hereby designates The Grapevine
Sun as the official newspaper for the Town of Westlake,
Texas.
