WHEREAS, the Town of Westlake is desirous that State Highway
114 be improved in Tarrant and Denton Counties; and
WHEREAS, the State of Texas Department of Highways and
Public Transportation has passed Minute Orders 86417 and 86418,
regarding such project; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE,
TEXAS.
That the Town of Westlake, Texas supports the widening and
reconstruction of State Highway 114 within the Town limits of the
Town of Westlake and between the Roanoke Bypass and interchange
with State Highway 170 on the west and the connection with the
existing divided State Highway 114 on the east, and the Mayor of
the Town of Westlake is authorized to present this Resolution to
the State Department of Highways and Public Transportation or
any other entity or individual.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 7th day of January, 1991.
