NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas, will meet at 7:00
p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2005, in the Board room located at 2650 J.T. Ottinger Road to consider
the following agenda:
1. Meeting called to order and announce a quorum.
2. EXECUTIVE SESSION.
A. The Board will conduct a closed session under Texas Government Code section 551.071 to
seek advice of counsel on legal matters involving pending or contemplated litigation,
settlement offers, or other legal matters not related directly to litigation or settlement.
Pending or contemplated litigation and settlement offers include but are not limited to the
following:
i. City of Roanoke v. Town of Westlake, Cause No. 0201 -00290 -CV (Second Court of
Appeals)
ii. Town of Westlake v. City of Roanoke (Johnny's Automotive tract), Cause No. 2003-
20243-158 (158th Judicial District Court of Denton County, Texas)
iii. Town of Trophy Club v. Town of Westlake, Cause No. 2004-40094-362 (362nd Judicial
District Court of Denton County, Texas).
iv. Weyerhaeuser Company DIBIA Trus Joist iv. Town of Westlake, Manhattan Construction
Company. L.P., and Better Builders -Dallas, Inc., Cause No. 048-203407-03 (District Court
of Tarrant County, Texas).
B. The Board will conduct a closed session under Texas Government Code section 551.074 to
discuss personnel matters.
C. The Board will conduct a closed session under Texas Government Code section 551.072 to
discuss the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property.
D. Reconvene into open meeting.
3. Take necessary action with respect to Item #2 above.
4. Citizens' Presentations: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the Board on any matter
whether or not it is posted on the agenda. The Board cannot by law take action nor have any
discussion or deliberations on any presentation made to the Board at this time concerning an item
not fisted on the agenda. Any item presented may be noticed on a future agenda for deliberation or
action.
5. Consider a Resolution suspending the proposal by Atmos Energy Corp. to implement interim
GRIP rate adjustments for gas utility investment in 2003.

6. Consider a Resolution arn,..,ding SUP -99-01 regarding the timing of tl__ gate being closed in
G1enWyck Farms.
7. Consider an Ordinance amending the Engineering Design Standards, Article II: Roadway
Facilities, to create a new Section 8: Temporary Parking Facilities.
8. Consider an Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 379 adopting a new residential building permit
fee schedule and a sprinkler review fee.
9. Consider an Ordinance calling and ordering an election to be held on the 7th day of May 2005, for
the purpose of electing three Aldermen.
10. Consent Agenda: All items listed below are considered routine by the Board of Aldermen and will
be enacted with one motion. There will be no separate discussion of items unless a Board member
or citizen so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the general order of business
and considered in its normal sequence,
A. Review and approve minutes of the regular meeting held on January 10, 2005.
B. Review and approve any outstanding bills.
11. Adjournment.

Road, Westlake, Texas, on Friday, January 21, 2005, at 5:00 p.m. under the Open Meetings Act, Chapter
551 of the Texas Government Code.

the Texas Government Code to discuss any item posted on the agenda.
