NOTICE OF SPECIAL CALLED MEETING
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas will
meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 1997, at the Westlake Town Hall, 3 Village
Circle, Suite 207, Solana, in the Town of Westlake, Texas to consider the following
Items:
1. Meeting called to order.
2. Citizens' Presentations: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the
Board on any matter whether or not it is posted on the agenda. The Board
will not take action on any presentation made to the Board at this time
concerning an item not listed on the agenda.
3. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Board will conduct a closed session under
Chapter 551 of the Government Code:
aj To seek or receive its attorney's advice with regard to legal
matters, permitted by Section 551.071 of the Government Code, as
follows:
i. Discuss Cause No. 96-168763-97 pending in the 342�d
Judicial District Court of Tarrant County, Texas, styled
Scott Bradley v. Carroll Huntress Haward Dudley,
Jerry Moore and Al Oren
ii. Discuss reaching an agreement regarding the procedure
to be followed in any action to remove Mayor Scott
Bradley from office.
iii. Settlement offer from the attorney for the City of
Roanoke.
4. Consider and take action on Cause No. 96-168763-97 pending in the 342°'l
Judicial District Court of Tarrant County, Texas, styled Scott Bradley v.
Carroll Huntress, Howard Dudley, Jerry Moore and Al Oien.
5. Consider and take action on an agreement regarding the procedure to be
followed in any action to remove Mayor Scott Bradley from office
6. Consider and take action necessary to authorize the Town attorney to
agree to the settlement offer from the attorney for the City of Roanoke.
7. Consider and take the necessary action for the Town of Westlake to act
as intervenor in the lawsuit brought by Scott Bradley against Carroll
Huntress, Howard Dudley, Jerry Moore and Al Oien.
