NOTICE OF MEETING
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas will
meet in executive session at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 1997 at the Westlake
Town Hall, 3 Village Circle, Suite 207, Solana, in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The
Board will conduct a closed session under chapter 551 of the Government Code to seek or
receive its attorney's advice with regard to legal matters, as permitted by Section 551.071
of the Government Code; to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real
property, as permitted by Section 551.072 of the Government Code; and to discuss
personnel matters as permitted by Section 551.074 of the Government Code. Thereafter
the Board of Aldermen will meet at 7:30 p.m. to consider the following agenda:
Meeting called to order; approve the minutes of the March 10, 1997 regular
meeting.
2. Citizens' Presentations: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the
Board on items not posted on the agenda. The Board will not take action
on any presentations made to the Board at this time.
Discuss the traffic control plan for traffic to and from Texas Motor
Speedway and take any necessary action.
4. Consider authorizing a master drainage study for the Town.
Consider appointing Ann Withington, Jim Milner and Bonita Turner as
members of the Board of Directors of the Texas Student Housing
Corporation.
6. Continuation of PUBLIC HEARING to consider adoption of a water and
wastewater capital improvement plan and to consider the adoption of water
and wastewater impact fees.
7. Continuation of PUBLIC HEARING to consider adoption of a roadway
capital improvement plan and to consider the adoption of roadway impact
fees.
S. Continuation of PUBLIC HEARING to consider adoption of revisions to
the Unified Development Code revising planned development zoning district
regulations.
9. Continuation of PUBLIC HEARING to consider adoption of revisions to
the Unified Development Code revising subdivision and platting regulations.
10. Consider Ordinance 267 prohibiting roadside vendors.
11. Consider an ordinance defining the Town's municipal boundaries, declaring
that all properties within these boundaries (as shown on Exhibit A) to be the
Town of Westlake, Texas; reflecting the Town's corporate boundaries as of
the date of the passage of this ordinance.
12. Consider a resolution to consider and act on the Town's position with
regard to all consultants.
13. Consider Ordinance 268 extending the moratorium on acceptance or
processing of petitions to rezone land to planned development districts or to
amend existing planned development districts.
14. Consider Ordinance 269 extending the moratorium on acceptance or
processing of all applications for subdivision or platting of land and
exceptions thereto.
15. Other Business: Discussion by the Board of Aldermen on items of
importance and concern not listed on the agenda. No action or vote will be
taken on any of these items.

1:00 p.m., under the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
