NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas will
meet in executive session at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 1996 at the
Westlake Town Hall, 3 Village Circle, Suite 207, Solana, in the Town of Westlake,
Texas. The Board will conduct a closed session under chapter 551 of the Government
Code to seek or receive its attorney's advice with regard to legal matters, as permitted by
Section 551.071 of the Government Code; to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease or
value of real property, as permitted by Section 551.072 of the Government Code; and to
discuss personnel matters as permitted by Section 551.074 of the Government Code.
Thereafter, the Board of Aldermen will meet at 7:30 p.m. to consider the following
agenda:
1. Meeting called to order; approve the minutes of the December 9, 1996
regular meeting.
2, Citizens' Presentations: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the
Board on items not posted on the agenda. The Board will not take action
on any presentations made to the Board at this time.
3. Continuation of PUBLIC HEARING to consider rezoning from R-40
"Estate Residential" Zone to R-200 "Country Residential" Zone certain
tracts of land situated east of Pearson Lane and south of Dove Road and
bordering the R-200 "Country Residential" Zone of Shelby Estates on the
north and east borders of Shelby Estates.
4. Consider amending the Comprehensive Plan to provide for the rezoning
from R-40 "Estate Residential" Zone to R-200 "Country Residential" Zone
certain tracts of land situated east of Pearson Lane and south of Dove Road
and bordering the R-200 "Country Residential" Zone of Shelby Estates on
the north and east borders of Shelby Estates.
5. Continuation of PUBLIC HEARING to consider adoption of revisions to
the Unified Development Code revising planned development zoning
district regulations.
6. Continuation of PUBLIC HEARING to consider adoption of revisions to
the Unified Development Code revising subdivision and platting
regulations.
7. Establish a hearing date of February 10, 1997.for the establishment of
Capital Improvements Plan and impact fees.
8. Consider adoption of the revised water and wastewater master plans.
9. PUBLIC HEARING concerning the budget for the fiscal year ending
September 30, 1997.
10. Other Business: Discussion by the Board of Aldermen on items of
importance and concern not listed on the agenda. No action or vote will be
taken on any of these items.
11. Adjourn.
