NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING
TO THE CMZENS OF THE TOWN OF WF.STLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Alderinen of the Town of westlake Texas will meet in
executive seSszon at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 1996 at the Westlake Town Hall, 3
Village Circle, Suite 207, Solana, in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The Board will conduct a
closed session under Chapter 551 of the Government Code to seek or receive its attomey's advice
with regard to legal matters, as permitted by Section 551.071 of the Government Code; to
deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property, as permitted by Section 551.072
of the Government Code; and to discuss personnel matters as permitted by Section 551.074 of the
Government Code. Thereafter, the Board of Aldermen will meet at 74-00 p.m. to consider the
following agenda:
l , Meeting called to order; approve the minutes of the October 14, 1996 regular
meeting.
Citizens' Presentations: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the Board on
items not poster] on the agenda. The Board will not take action on any
presentations made to the Board at this time.
3. Consider approving the site plant proposed by Maguire -Thomas Partners for the
next phase of PD -1 (Solana), including without limitdlion any variances to the
Unified Development Code as may be reflected in the application on file with the
Town.
4. Consider adoption of proposed Ordinance 260 whereby the Town of Westlake,
Texas, and Southwestern Bell Telephone Company agree, to amend Ordinance No.
191 to provide for a longer term and to add termination and other provisions as a
result of the changes made by the public Utility regulatory Act of 1995, 74th
Leg., R. S. Ch. 231, Tex, Sess. Law Serv. 2017 (Vernon) (to be codified as
Tex. Rcv . CiY. Snit. Ann. Art. 1446-C-0) ,
5_ PUBLIC HEARING to consider rezoning from a R-40 ".Estate- .Residential" Zone
to a R-200 "Country Residential" Zone certain tracts of land situated east of
Pearson Lane and south of Dove Road and bordering the R-200 "Country
Residential" Zone of Shelby Estates on the north and east borders of Shelby
Estates,
6. Consider adoption of an ordinance rezoning certain property situated east of
Pearson Lane and south of Dove Road and bordering the R-200 "Country
Residential" Zone of Shelby Estates on the Shelby Estates subdivision's north and
east borders, from the R-40 "Estate Residential" Zone to the R-200 "Country
Residential" ?one.
7. Consider approval of the application from Maguire -Thomas Partners for a variance
to the sign, ordinance to permit construction of the sign for La Scala Restaurant at
3 Village Circle, Westla.kti, Taxas, in accordance with the plains filed with the
application,

and employment growth in Westlake for the purpose of establishing impact foes for
water, wastewater and roadway facilities.

19. Consider an interlocal agreement with Tarrant County for road repairs.
20. Consider joining the Bureau of the Census in a list -building partnership program
in preparation for the Year 2WJ Census.
21. Consider an interlocal agreement with Denton County for a operative purchasing
contract for the 1.996.97 fiscal year,
22. Consider extending the employment of Terry Morgan as special legal counsel.
23. Consider a service contract for the Town's copy machine.
24. Consider a service contract with Lexmark for the Town's laser printer,
25. Other business. Discussion by Board of Aldermen on items of importance and
concern not listed on the agenda. No action or vote will be taken on any of these
items.
