HomeMy WebLinkAbout06-03-96 TC AgendaTOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS: Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 1996 at the Solana Education Center, Suite 202, Room 1, 3 Village Circle, Solana, in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The Board of Aldermen will conduct a closed session under Chapter 551 of the Government Code to consult with its Attorney concerning pending or contemplated litigation, as permitted by Section 551.071 of the Government Code; to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property, as permitted by Section 551.0722 of the Government Code; and to discuss personnel matters as permitted by Section 551.074 of the Government Code. At 7:00 p.m., the Board of Aldermen will convene in open session to consider the following agenda: 1. Meeting called to order; approve the minutes of the May 6, 1996 regular meeting. 2. Confirm the appointment of William E. Greenwood to the Planning and Zoning Commission. 3. Resolution of Support for the Metroport SH 114 Partnership's request to the Texas Department of Transportation to expedite State Highway 114 improvements. 4. Contribution of $5,000 to the Metroport SH 114 Partnership to help defray costs of the effort to expedite State Highway 114 improvements. 5. Adjourn. The Board of Aldermen and the Planning and Zoning Commission immediately thereafter will convene a joint workshop with representatives of Hillwood/Willow Bend, Ltd. (Developer), owner of the Circle T Ranch in Westlake, Texas, to discuss the following items at the request of the Developer: (a) Developer's proposal to rezone the entire Circle T Ranch. (b) Developer's request that the Town reduce the filing fee for the rezoning application proposed to be filed by Developer for the Circle T Ranch. (c) Developer's request that the Town waive the site analysis required to accompany a rezoning application. (d) Developer's request that the Town waive the site planning information required to accompany a rezoning application. (e) Developer's proposal to finance improvements on the Circle T Ranch and in the Town utilizing the Town's sales tax revenues. Citizens' Presentations: Anyone desiring to address the Board concerning matters discussed in the Workshop will be afforded an opportunity to speak. The Board will not take action on any presentations made to the Board at this time. Adjourn.
