NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas will meet
at 64 -GO P.M. on Monday, May 6, 19-06 at the Westlake Town Hall, 3 Village Circle, Suite 207,
Solana, in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The Hoard of Aldermen will conduct a closed session
under Chapter 551 of the Government Code to consult with its Attorney concerning mending or
contemplated litigation, as permitted by Section 551.071 of the Government Code; to deliberate
the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property, as permitted by Section 551.072 of the
Government Code; and w discuss personnel matters as permitted by Section 551.074 of the
Government Code, Thereafter, the Board of Aldermen will convene in open session to Consider
the following agenda:
1. Muting oalled to order; approve the minutes of the April 8, 1996 regular
meeting.
2, Citizens' Presentations. This is an opportunity for citizens to address the Boa -rd
on items not posted on the agenda. The Board will not take action on any
presentations made to the Board at this time.
3. Consider ordinance canvas,sing the results of the May 4, 1996 sales tax election.
4. Consider ordinance canvassing the results of the May 4, 1996 election of a mayor
and two aldermen.
5. Administer oath of office to newly elected mayor and aldermen,
6. Consider appointment of Mayor Pro Tcm (Carroll Huntress is the cuzrent Mayor
Pro Tem) .
.7. Consider payment of the Town's share for the oversizing and looping of the
waterline in Wyck Hill Dane and Dove Road,
S. Consider the engagement of certified public accountants to set up and audit the
Town's financial records,
9. Consider an agreement for engineering ,sarvices to be performed by The Hogan
Corporation, including Work Order No. 1 in the amount of $13,920.
10. Consider sponsorship of the fifth annual Metroport Meals on Wheels golf
tournament.
11. Consider purchasing public employee blanket bond insurance coverage through
Toxas Municipal League.
12, Consider an ordinance defining the Town's municipal boundaries and declaring
all properties within these boundaries to be a part of the Town.
13, Consider a new or revised contract with Metroplex Engineering Consultants, Inc.
for engineering services.
14. Other business; Discussion by Board of Aldermen on items of importance and
concern not listed on the agenda, No action or vote will be taken on any of these
items.
15. Adjourn.
