NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas will meet at 7:00 p.m. on
Monday, January 8, 1996 at the Westlake Town Hall, 3 Village Circle, Suite 207, Solana, in the Town of
Westlake, Texas. The Board of Aldermen will consider the following agenda:
Meeting called to order; approve the minutes of the December 11, 1995 regular meeting.
2. Citizens' Presentations: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the Board on items not
posted on the agenda. The Board will not take action on any presentations made to the Board
at this time.
3. Report on the Texas Student Housing Corporation.
4. Ratify an amendment to the Articles of Incorporation of Texas Student Housing Corporation,
deleting current Article IV thereof and substituting in its place the following:
Article IV
The purpose of the Corporation is to act on behalf of the Town of Westlake
and as its duly constituted authority and instrumentality to exercise the
powers granted to an authority under the provisions of the Act, and to
exercise all powers granted under the Texas Non -Profit Corporation as
provided in the Act.
5. Consider (a) the final plat filed by Realty Capital Corporation for a 23.22 -acre tract of land in
the G.B. Hendricks Survey, Abstract No. 680, to be known as The Estates, an addition to the
Town of Westlake, and (b) an agreement with Realty Capital Corporation regarding the
development of the tract.
6. Approve the following 1996 holidays for which employee(s) will be paid (after 90 days service
to the Town):
New Years Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving
Christmas
7. Other business: Discussion by Board of Aldermen on items of importance and concern not listed
on the agenda. No action or vote will be taken on any of these items.
8. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Board will conduct a closed session under Chapter 551 of the
Government Code to consult with its Attorney concerning pending or contemplated litigation,
as permitted by Section 551.071 of the Government Code; to deliberate the purchase, exchange,
lease or value of real property, as permitted by Section 551.072 of the Government Code; and
to discuss personnel matters as permitted by Section 551.074 of the Government Code.
9. Adjourn.
