NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:.
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas will meet
at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 1995 at the Westlake Town Hall, 3 Village Circle,
Suite 207, Solana, in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The Board of Aldermen will consider the
following agenda:
1. Meeting called to order; approve the minutes of the November 13, 1995 regular
meeting.
2. Citizens' Presentations: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the Board
on items not posted on the agenda. The Board will not take action on any
presentations made to the Board at this time.
3. Presentation by Laidlaw Waste Systems.
4. Consider an Ordinance altering the prima facie speed limits established for
vehicles under the provisions of Sections 167 and 169 of Article XIX, R.C.S.
6701d, Uniform Act regulating traffic on highways, upon the basis of an
engineering and traffic investigation upon State Highway 170, or parts thereof,
within the corporate limits of the Town of Westlake.
5. Consider granting a variance to permit construction of a home up to 38 feet in
height on a 29.431 -acre tract of land in the Josea Walker Survey, Abstract No.
1604, to be known as Lot 1 of Block 8 of the Troy Aikman Addition to the Town
of Westlake.
6. Consider an Ordinance imposing charges for false alarms to the 911 System.
7. Other business: Discussion by Board of Aldermen on items of importance and
concern not listed on the agenda. No action or vote will be taken on any of these
items.
8. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Board will conduct a closed session under Chapter
551 of the Government Code to consult with its Attorney concerning pending or
contemplated litigation, as permitted by Section 551.071 of the Government
Code; to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property, as
permitted by Section 551.072 of the Government Code; and to discuss personnel
matters as permitted by Section 551.074 of the Government Code.

NOTICE OF SUPPLEMENTAL AGENDA ITEM
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas, at its
meeting to be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 1995 at the Westlake Town Hall,
3 Village Circle, Suite 207, Solana, in the Town of Westlake, Texas, will consider the following
matter as an urgent public necessity:
Consider authorizing an amendment to the Articles of Incorporation of Texas
Student Housing Corporation, deleting current Article IV thereof and substituting
in its place the following:
Article lV
The purpose of the Corporation is to act on behalf of the Town of Westlake
and as its duly constituted authority and instrumentality to exercise the
powers granted to an authority under the provisions of the Act, and to
exercise all powers granted under the Texas Non -Profit Corporation as
provided in the Act.
An urgent public necessity exists because of a reasonably unforeseeable situation, namely, the
necessity of filing the amendment to the Articles of Incorporation prior to December 19, 1995,
the closing date for the purchase of higher education facilities in College Station and Bryan,
Texas.
