NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas will meet
at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 9, 1995 at the Westlake Town Hall, 3 Village Circle, Suite
207, Solana, in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The Board of Aldermen will consider the
following agenda:
1. Meeting called to order; approve the minutes of the September 11, 1995 regular
meeting and the September 25, 1995 special meeting.
2. Citizens' Presentations: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the Board
on items not posted on the agenda. The Board will not take action on any presentations made
to the Board at this time.
3. Presentation by Mrs. Vontilla Parchman concerning her desire to have her
property disannexed from the Town of Westlake.
4. Consider adoption of Ordinance amending the building permit fees schedule to
reduce fees for remodeling properties to the fees provided in the Uniform Building Code,
effective as of July 1, 1995 (approved at the March 6, 1995 regular meeting).
5. Consider adoption of a proclamation declaring November 5-11, 1995, as "Texas
Veterans Land Board Awareness Week."

concerning the raising of the speed limit on State Highway 170 within the town limits of
Westlake.
7. Consider a preliminary plat filed by Realty Capitol Corporation for a 23.22 -acre
tract of land in the G. B. Hendricks Survey, Abstract No. 680, to be known as The Estates, an
Addition to the Town of Westlake.
8. Consider ratification of Resolution No. 95-4 for the City of Southlake's request
to the Texas Department of Transportation to expedite State Highway 114 improvements adopted
by the Aldermen attending the Special Meeting of the Board of Aldermen on September 25,
1995.
9. Consider request for contribution to Roanoke Library.
10. Discuss Newman, Jackson, Bieberstein, Inc.'s proposal for professional planning
services for development of a detailed open public space plan for the Town.
11. Other business: Discussion by Board of Aldermen on items of importance and
concern not listed on the agenda. No action or vote will be taken on any of these items.
12. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Board will conduct a closed session pursuant to
Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code to consult with its Attorney and to discuss pending
or contemplated litigation, as permitted by Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code; and
to discuss personnel matters as permitted by Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code.
13. Adjourn.
