NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas will meet
at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 11, 1995 at the Westlake Town Hall, 3 Village Circle,
Suite 207, Solana, in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The Board of Aldermen will consider the
following agenda:
1. Meeting called to order; approve the minutes of the August 14, 1995 regular meeting.
2. Citizens' Presentations: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the Board on items
not posted on the agenda. The Board will not take action on any presentations made to
the Board at this time.
3. Consider Resolution No. 95-3 authorizing the Town to participate in drafting a new GTE
telephone franchise ordinance.
4. Consider requests for contributions to
• Roanoke Library
• Northeast Arts Council
• Metro ort Meals on Wheels, Inc.

5. Consider Resolution No. 95-4 whereby the Town would indemnify its officers,
employees and others serving at the request of the Town.
6. Discuss recycling program, franchise fees and other issues pertinent to the Laidlaw Waste
Systems contract.
7. Discuss noncompliance with the Zoning Ordinance of the resident at 2225 Pearson Lane
and consider a temporary special use permit for same.
8. Discuss Newman, Jackson, Bieberstein, Inc.'s proposal for professional planning services
for development of a detailed open public space pian for the Town.
9. Other business: Discussion by Board of Aldermen on items of importance and concern
not listed on the agenda. No action or vote will be taken on any of these items.
10. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Board will conduct a closed session pursuant to Chapter
551 of the Texas Government Code to consult with its Attorney and to discuss pending
or contemplated litigation, as permitted by Section 551.071 of the Texas Government
Code; and to discuss personnel matters as permitted by Section 551.074 of the Texas
Government Code.
