NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas will meet
at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 1995 at the Westlake Town Hall, 3 Village Circle, Suite
207, Solana, in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The Board of Aldermen will consider the
following agenda:
1. Meeting called to order; approve the minutes of the July 10, 1995 regular meeting.
2. Consider a resolution accepting the resignation of Bill Wolston from the Board of
Directors of the Texas Student Housing Corporation, effective as of July 19, 1995, and
appointing Dr. John Brooks, the new Superintendent of Northwest Independent School
District, as Mr. Wolston's successor, effective as of the same date.
3. Consider a resolution concerning the Town's policy for investment of funds.
4. Consider an interlocal agreement with the City of Southlake to share a sewer line to be
placed in Kirkwood Branch and Higgins Branch.
5. Discuss issues involved in possible consolidation of the Trophy Club MUDS into the
Town of Trophy Club.
b. Reminder of the Sales Tax Election on August 12, 1995. (Early voting has already
commenced and continues through Tuesday, August 8, 1995.)
7. Discuss status of the Northeast Tarrant County Water Supply Study.
8. Other business: Discussion by Board of Aldermen on items of importance and concern
not listed on the agenda. No action or vote will be taken on any of these items.
9. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Board will conduct a closed session pursuant to Chapter
551 of the Texas Government Code to consult with its Attorney and to discuss pending
or contemplated litigation, as permitted by Section 551.071 of the Texas Government
Code; and to discuss personnel matters as permitted by Section 551.074 of the Texas
Government Code.
10. Adjourn.
