HomeMy WebLinkAbout02-13-95 TC AgendaTOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS: Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, the 13th day of February, 1995 at the Westlake Town Hall, 3 Village Circle, Suite 207, Solana, in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The Board of Aldermen will consider the following agenda: 1. Meeting called to order, approve the minutes of the January 9th, 1995 regular meeting and minutes of the Special Meeting held on January 23, 1995. 2. Citizens Presentations: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the Board on items not posted on the agenda. The Board will not take action on any presentation made to the Board at this time. 3. Executive Session: The Board will conduct a closed session pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code to consult with its Attorney and to discuss pending or contemplated litigation, as permitted by Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code. 4. Consider Ordinance #234 , annexing land owned by Edgar A. and Ramona J. Noack. 5. Consider Ordinance #235, calling an election for May 6th, 1995, electing three Aldermen for a two year term. 6. Consider appointing Director(s) to the Texas Student Housing Corporation and the Texas Student Housing Authority. 7. Consider a Resolution appointing Directors to the proposed Westlake Development Corporation and authorizing the Town Attorney to file Articles of Incorporation. S. Consider authorizing Town Secretary to purchase a computer and software per proposal from Day Computer Services. 9. Consider amendment to the Town's contract with the Town of Trophy Club for police and emergency services. 10. Discuss proposal to amend the Town's building permit fees schedule to reduce certain fees for remodeling projects to the fees provided in the Uniform Building Code. 11. Consider changing the designation of the Town's official newspaper from The Grapevine Sun to The Keller Citizen. 12. Other business: Discussion by Board of Aldermen on items of importance and concern not listed on the agenda. No action or vote will be taken on any of these items. 13. Adjourn.
