NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS.
Notice is herebyg'iven that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of
Westlake, Texas will meet at 7:00 P. M. on Monday, 23rd day of
January, 1995 at=_ the Westlake Town Hall, 3 Village Circle, Suite
207, Solana, in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The Board of Aldermen
will consider the following agenda:
1. Citizens Presentations: This is an opportunity for citizens
to address the Board on items not posted on the agenda. The
Board will not take action on any presentation made to the
Board at this time.
2. Consider an ordinance canvassing the election returns for
the additional sales and use tax election held on January 21,
1995.
3. Consider adoption of an ordinance creating a higher education
authority, appointing an initial board of directors thereof,
and resolving related matters.
4. Consider adoption of a resolution authorizing the formation
of a corporation under the Higher Education Authority Act,
appointing initial board of directors, thereof, and resolving
related matters.
5. EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Board will conduct a closed session
pursuant to Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code to dis-
cuss any of the following:
a. Section 551.071 "Consultation with Attorney and pending
or contemplated litigation."
b. Section 551.072 "Deliveration with regard to real estate."
6. Other business: Discussion by Board of Aldermen on items
of importance and concern not listed on the agenda. No
action or vote will be taken on any of these items.
