HomeMy WebLinkAbout03-27-00 TC AgendaNotice of Board of Aldermen --ting TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS: Page i of 3 WX. :4= Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas, will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2000, in Suite 200, 3 Village Circle, in the Town of Westlake, Texas. (Note location change.) The Board will open the meeting at 7:00 p.m. and recess into executive session. The Board will then reconvene into open session at 7:30 p.m. The Board will consider the following agenda: 1. Meeting called to order. 2. EXECUTIVE SESSION. A. The Board will conduct a closed session under Texas Government Code section 551.071 to seek advice of counsel on legal matters involving pending or contemplated litigation, settlement offers, or other legal matters not related directly to litigation or settlement. Pending or contemplated litigation and settlement offers include but are not limited to the following: i. City of Roanoke v. Town of Westlake, Cause No. 97-50250-367 (Denton County District Court) ii. Competing applications of Town of Westlake and the City of Keller for Certificate of Convenience and Necessity, SOAR Docket Nos. 482-97-0134 and -0175 B. Reconvene into open meeting at 7:30 p.m. 3. Take necessary action with respect to any of the pending matters in Item 92 above. 4. Review and approve minutes of the regular meeting held on March 13, 2000. 5. Citizens' Presentations: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the Board on any matter whether or not it is posted on the agenda. The Board can not by law take action nor have any discussion or deliberations on any presentation made to the Board at this time concerning an item not listed on the agenda. Any item presented may be noticed on a future agenda for deliberation or action. 6. Consider a resolution appointing members of the Westlake Historical Preservation Board. 7. Consider an ordinance altering the prima facie speed limit on State Highway 114. 9. Consider an ordinance declaring a ninety 90 day moratorium on the permitting, installation, or construction of any commercial wireless antenna facility within the corporate limits of the Town. 10. Consider a resolution granting an exemption from the ninety (90) day moratorium on the permitting, installation, or construction of any commercial wireless antenna facility within the corporate limits of the Town, approved as Item 98, to Airtouch Communications, on behalf of PrimeCo Personal Communications. 11. Consider an ordinance declaring a moratorium from the effective date of this ordinance and continuing until June 26, 2000, at 11:59 p.m., on the issuance, acceptance or approval of any permits, applications, site plans, zoning amendments, preliminary plats and final plats on all property in the Town zoned R-20, R -20C, R-40, and R -40C. 12. Conduct a Public Hearing to consider an ordinance approving a preliminary plat for PD 3-1 filed by W.B. Texas Resort Communities, L.P. concerning approximately 451.12 acres adjacent to proposed Precinct Line Road, south of Dove Road. 13. Presentation from Carter & Burgess concerning the design of the 377 above ground storage and pump station. 14. Review and approve any outstanding bills. 15. Adjournment.
