NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING`S
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas, will meet at 6:00 p.m.
on Monday, September 9, 2002, at the construction trailer on the Civic Campus site for a safety meeting.
The Board of Aldermen will then meet at 7:00 p.m. in the Education Center, Rooms 1 & 2, located at 3
Village Circle, in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The Board will consider the following agenda:
1. Safety meeting called to order and announce a quorum at 6:00 p.m.
2. Safety presentation by the construction manager of the Civic Campus.
Recess to the regular meeting in the Education Center, Rooms 1 & 2, 3 Village Circle, Westlake,
Texas.
4. Regular meeting called to order and announce a quorum at 7:00 p.m.
5. EXECUTIVE SESSION.
A. The Board will conduct a closed session under Texas Government Code section 551.071 to
seek advice of counsel on legal matters involving pending or contemplated litigation, settlement
offers, or other legal matters not related directly to litigation or settlement. Pending or
contemplated litigation and settlement offers include but are not limited to the following:
i. City of Roanoke v. Town of Westlake, Cause No. 97-50250-367 (Fort Worth Court of
Appeals)
ii. Town qf Westlake objection to Trophy Club MUD CCN Application.
iii: Sherry Gray v. Henry Barry, et al., Cause No. 153-184584-00 (Fort Worth Court of
Appeals)
B. The Board will conduct a closed session under Texas Government Code section 551.074 to
discuss personnel matters.
C. Reconvene into open meeting at 7:30 p.m.
6. Take necessary action with respect to any of the pending matters in Item #5 above.
7. Citizens' Presentations: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the Board on any matter whether
or not it is posted on the agenda. The Board cannot by law take action nor have any discussion or
deliberations on any presentation made to the Board at this time concerning an item not listed on the
agenda. Any item presented may be noticed on a fixture agenda for deliberation or action.
8. Adopt a Proclamation to honor the victims of September 11, 2001.

9. Consent Agenda: All items listed below are considered routine by the Board of Aldermen and will be
enacted with one motion. There will be no separate discussion of items unless a Board member or
citizen so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the general order of business and
considered in its normal sequence.
A. Review and approve minutes of the regular meeting held on August 26, 2002.
B. Review and approve minutes of the budget workshop held on August 26, 2002.
C. Review and approve any outstanding bills.
10. Adj ournment.

Village Circle, Suite 207, Westlake, Texas, on Friday, September 6, 2002, at 5:00 p.m., under the Open
Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.

Texas Government Code to discuss any item posted on the agenda.
