The agenda is as follows: 1. Meeting called to order. 2. Discuss the 2002-03 budget. 3. Adj ournment. The Board will consider the following agenda: 1. Regular meeting called to order and announce a quorum at 7:00 p.m. 2. EXECUTIVE SESSION. A. The Board will conduct a closed session under Texas Government Code section 551.071 to seek advice of counsel on legal matters involving pending or contemplated litigation, settlement offers, or other legal matters not related directly to litigation or settlement. Pending or contemplated litigation and settlement offers include but are not limited to the following: L City of Roanoke v. Town of Westlake, Cause No. 97-50.250-367 (Fort Worth Court of Appeals) ii. Town of Westlake objection to Trophy Club MUD CCNApplication. iii. Sherry Gray v. Henry Barry, et al., Cause No. 153-184584-00 (Fort Worth Court of Appeals) B. The Board will conduct a closed session under Texas Government Code section 551.074 to discuss personnel matters as recommended by the Town Manager. C. Reconvene into open meeting at 7:30 p.m. 3. Take necessary action with respect to any of the pending matters in Item 42 above. 4. Citizens' Presentations: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the Board on any matter whether or not it is posted on the agenda. The Board cannot by law take action nor have any discussion or deliberations on any presentation made to the Board at this time concerning an item not listed on the agenda. Any item presented may be noticed on a future agenda for deliberation or action. 5. Mayor Bradley to present a Proclamation to Tarrant County Commissioner Glen Whitley for his role in securing funds for the FM 1938 project through the Town of Westlake. 6. Consider a Resolution reappointing Allen Heath and Stan Parchman to the Planning & Zoning Commission. 7. Consider an Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 379 relative to ambulance transport service fees. 8. Consent Agenda: All items listed below are considered routine by the Board of Aldermen and will be enacted with one motion. There will be no separate discussion of items unless a Board member or citizen so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the general order of business and considered in its normal sequence. A. Review and approve minutes of the regular meeting held on August 12, 2002. B. Review and approve any outstanding bills. C. Review and approve certain contracts related to the Westlake Civic Campus. 10. Adjournment.
