TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas, will hold a wor"hop at
6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2002 in Suite 207, 3 Village Circle, in the Town of Westlake. Texas. The
agenda is as follows:
1. Meeting called to order.
2. Review budget amendment recommendation by staff.
3. Discuss plans for temporary fire station.
4. Adjournment.

NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING W� �E
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas, will meet at 7:00 p.m.
on Monday, June 10, 2002, in the Education Center, Rooms 1 & 2, 3 Village Circle, in the Town of
Westlake, Texas. The Board will consider the following agenda:
1. Regular meeting called to order and announce a quorum at 7:00p.m.
2. EXECUTIVE SESSION.
A. The Board will conduct a closed session under Texas Government Code section 551.071 to
seek advice of counsel on legal matters involving pending or contemplated litigation, settlement
offers, or other legal matters not related directly to litigation or settlement. Pending or
contemplated litigation and settlement offers include but are not limited to the following:
i. City of Roanoke v. Town of Westlake, Cause No. 97-50250-367 (Denton County District
Court)
ii. Sherry Gray v. Henry Barry, et al., Cause No. 153-184584-00
B. The Board will conduct a closed session under Texas Government Code section 551.072 to
discuss the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real property for the Civic Campus.
C. The Board will conduct a closed session under Texas Government Code section 551.074 to
discuss personnel matters as recommended by theTown Manager.
D. Reconvene into open meeting at 7:30 p.m.
3. Take necessary action with respect to any of the pending matters in Item #2 above.
4. Citizens' Presentations: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the Board on any matter whether
or not it is posted on the agenda. The Board cannot by law take action nor have any discussion or
deliberations on any presentation made to the Board at this time concerning an item not listed on the
agenda. Any item presented may be noticed on a future agenda for deliberation or action.
5. Presentation to Dr. Patsy Sharp for her service on the Board of Directors of the Texas Student
Housing entities.
6. Consider a resolution appointing Becky Rogers to the Board of Directors of the Texas Student
Housing entities.
7. Consider a resolution adopting 2001-2002 Budget Amendments recommended by staff.

8. Consent Agenda: All items listed below are considered routine by the Board of Aldermen and will be
enacted with one motion. There will be no separate discussion of items unless a Board member or
citizen so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the general order of business and
considered in its normal sequence.
A. Review and approve minutes of the regular meeting held on May 13, 2002.
B. Review and approve any outstanding bills.
C. Consider a resolution authorizing the Town Manager to enter into contracts for site work at the
temporary Westlake Fire/Rescue facility.
9. Adj ournment.

Texas Government Code to discuss any item posted on the agenda.
