NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING E
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN '3F WESTLAKE, TE" -,.S:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Alden -nen of the Town of Westlake., Texas, will meet at 7:00 p.m.
on Monday, October 22 2001, in the Educatic'n Center, Rooms 1 & 2 Villal.-Ye Circle, in the Town of
Westlake, Texas. The Board will consider the Following agenda:
1. Regular meeting called to order and announce a quorum at 7:00 p.m.
2. EXECUTIVE SESSION.
A. The Board will conduct a closed s.ssion under Texas Governm Int Code section 551.071 to
seek advice of counsel on legal m,.tters involving pending or ccnt-Implated litigation, settlement
offers, or other legal matters not related directly to litigation or seitlement. Pending or
contemplated litigation and settler cent offers include but are no : limited to the following:
i. City of Roanoke v. Town of Wes, lake, Cause No. 97-50250-3 f 7 {Denton County District
Court)
ii. Sherry Gray v. Henry Barry, et A, Cause No. 153-18458400
iii. Contemplated litigation between the Town of Westlake, T own j'Trophy Cluh, and Trophy
Club Municipal Utility Districts itl.ss. I and 2.
B. Reconvene into open meeting at 7:30 p.m.
3. Take necessary action wil respect to an ;Y, of the pending matters in IterrL #2 above.
4. Citizens' Presentations: This is an opporrunity for citizens to address the Board on any matter whether
or not it is posted on the agenda. The Bo �xd cannot by law take action nor have any discussion or
deliberations on any presentation made t:� the Board at this time concerning an item not listed on the
agenda. Any item presented may be noti-,ed on a future agenda for de -iteration or action.
5. Consider an Ordinance creating The ToN in of Westlake Municipal Court of Record No. 1.
6. Consider a Resolution designating the si Tnatories on the Town's bank accounts.
7. Consider an Ordinance to amend the To, m's Water and Wastewater rates.
8. Consider a Resolution terminating them anicipal employee agreement: with the Town of Trophy Club.
9. Consider an Ordinance enrolling the Tot un of Westlake in the Texas TAmicipal Retirement System
JMRS).
10. Consider a Resolution amending the bue.get for fye September 30, 2001, to include an expenditure of
$54,805.00 to extend the Municipal Court budget thru December 31, :001.

11. Consider a Resolution authorizing the Town Manager to negotiate a nev7 DPS contract with the
Trophy Club/Westlake DPS Board.
12. Conduct a Public Hearing to consider a -i Ordinance amending the Urdl ed Development Code,
Article XI, Planned Development Regulations, Section 2.3, PD Site Pians, G, Variances and Section
2.4, Amendment of Plans; and amendin€; the Circle T Planned Development Zoning District
Supplement of the Unified Development Code, Article I, General Pro-idsions, Section 3. 1, PD
Concept Plan, Section 3.4, PD Site Plan<.,; Article VII, Development Staadards.
13. Conduct a Public Hearing to consider aa Ordinance amending the Cornprehensive Zoning Ordinance
by amending the Circle T Planned Deve::opment Zoning District Supplement Ordinance Article VII,
Special Development Standards by adding Section 28, Permitted Use Table Supplement.
14. Conduct a Public Hearing to consider a Resolution approving a Specific Use Permit filed by W. B.
Texas Resort Communities, L.P. in orde - to apply for a State of Texas liquor license.
15. Consent Agenda: All items listed below pare considered routine by the Beard of Aldermen and will be
enacted with one motion. There will be no separate discussion of iterr.;.s unless a Board member or
citizen so requests, in which event the itern will be removed from the general order of business and
considered in its normal sequence.
A. Review and approve minutes of the r(-gular meeting held on October 8, 2001.
B. Review and approve any outstanding bills.
16. Adjournment.
