Page I of 3 TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXASW r' NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING E TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS: Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas, will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 22, 2001, in Suite 207, 3 'Village Circle, in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The Board will open the meeting at 7:00 p.m. and recess into executive session. The Board will then reconvene into open session at 7:30 p.m. The Board will consider the following agenda: 1. Meeting called to order and announce a quorum. 2. EXECUTIVE SESSION. A. The Board will conduct a closed session under Texas Government Code section 551.071 to seek advice of counsel on legal matters involving pending or contemplated litigation, settlement offers, or other legal matters not related directly to litigation or settlement. Pending or contemplated litigation and settlement offers include but are not limited to the following: i. City of Roanoke v. Town of Westlake, Cause No. 97-50250-367 (Denton County District Court) ii. Sherry Gray v. Henry Barry, et al., Cause No. 153-18458400 B. The Board will conduct a closed session under Texas Government Code section 551.074 to discuss personnel matters. C. Reconvene into open meeting at 7:30 p.m. 3. Take necessary action with respect to any of the pending matters in Item #2 above. 4. Receive a presentation from Ronnie Engelbeck. 5. Citizens' Presentations: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the Board on any matter whether or not it is posted on the agenda. The Board can not by law take action nor have any discussion or deliberations on any presentation made to the Board at this time concerning an item not listed on the agenda. Any item presented may be noticed on a future agenda for deliberation or action. 6. Consider a Resolution amending the by-laws of the Texas Student Housing Corporation, the Texas Student Housing Corporation - San Marcos Project and the Texas Student Housing Corporation - College Station Project by increasing the number of Directors from 10 to 11. 8. Consider an Ordinance approving a revised Interlocal Agreement , Settlement and Purchase Agreement and Facilities Operating Agreement with the City of Keller providing for the joint construction, operation, maintenance and use of an elevated water storage facility and appurtenances thereto. 9. Consider a Resolution amending the operating budget for the year ending September 30, 2001. 10. Conduct a staff presentation followed by a Public Hearing to consider a Concept Plan/Site Plan filed by Hillwood Development Corp. on 15.6 acres located in PD 3-7, Tract 7-2, Lot 1. 11. Conduct a staff presentation followed by a Public Hearing to consider a preliminary plat filed by Hillwood Development Corp. on 15.6 acres located in PD 3-7, Tract 7-2, Lot 1. 12. Conduct a staff presentation followed by a Public Hearing and consider amending the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance by replacing Section 3, Glare and Spillover Lighting into Residential properties of Article VII, Performance Standards with a new Section 3, Outdoor Lighting of Article VII, Performance Standards. 13. Consent Agenda: All items listed below are considered routine by the Board of Aldermen and will be enacted with one motion. There will be no separate discussion of items unless a Board member or citizen so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the general order of business and considered in its normal sequence. A. Review and approve minutes of the regular meeting held on December 11, 2000. B. Review and approve any outstanding bills. 14. Adjournment. CERTIFICATION I certify that the above notice was posted on the front door of the Town Hall of the Town of Westlake, 3 Village Circle, Suite 207, Westlake, Texas, on Friday, January 19, 2001, at 5:00 p.m., under the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.
