NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING w
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas, will meet at 8:40 p.m.
on Monday, August 11, 2003, in the Marriott Solana, located at 5 Village Circle, in the Town of Westlake,
Texas. The Board will consider the following agenda:
1. Meeting called to order and announce a quorum.
2. Citizens' Presentations: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the Board on any matter whether
or not it is posted on the agenda. The Board cannot by law take action nor have any discussion or
deliberations on any presentation made to the Board at this time concerning an item not listed on the
agenda. Any item presented may be noticed on a future agenda for deliberation or action.
3. Consider a resolution appointing members to the Board of Directors of the Texas Student Housing
Entities.
4. Consider a resolution approving the 2001/2002 annual audit from Whitley Penn.
5. Consider a resolution authorizing the Town Manager to purchase hardware and enter into a contract
for the lease of a new accounting software system.
6. Consider a resolution authorizing the Town Manager to enter into a Funding Agreement for Bridge
Enhancements at Precinct Line road and SH 114 with the Texas Department of Transportation.
7. Consent Agenda: All items listed below are considered routine by the Board of Aldermen and will be
enacted with one motion. There will be no separate discussion of items unless a Board member or
citizen so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the general order of business and
considered in its normal sequence.
A. Review and approve minutes of the regular meeting held on July 28, 2003.
B. Review and approve any outstanding bills.
C. Consider a Resolution approving certain contracts relating to the Westlake Civic Campus.
8. Adjournment.

Village Circle, Suite 207, Westlake, Texas, on Friday, August 8, 2003, at 5:00 p.m., under the Open
Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.

The Board of Aldermen may at any time convene into executive session as authorized by Chapter 551 of the
Texas Government Code to discuss any item posted on the agenda.
