NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas, will meet at 7:00
p.m. on Monday, May 10, 2004, in the Boardroom of the Town Hall, located at 2650 J.T. Ottinger
Road, in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The Board will consider the following agenda:
1. Meeting called to order and announce a quorum.
2. EXECUTIVE SESSION.
A. The Board will conduct a closed session under Texas Goveniment Code section 551.071 to
seek advice of counsel on legal matters involving pending or contemplated litigation,
settlement offers, or other legal matters not related directly to litigation or settlement.
Pending or contemplated litigation and settlement offers include but are not limited to the
following:
i. City of Roanoke v. Town of Westlake, Cause No. 02 -01 -00290 -CV (Second Court of
Appeals)
ii. Sherry Gray v. Henry Barry, et al., Cause No. 153-18458400 (153rd Judicial District
Court of Tarrant County, Texas)
iii. Gray v. Town of Westlake and Town of Westlake Zoning Board ofAdjustment, Cause
No. 02 -02 -00173 -CV (Second Court of Appeals)
iv. Kennel Kare, Inc. and Sherry Gray v. Town of Westlake Zoning Board ofAdjustment,
Cause No. 153-194580-02 (District Court of Tarrant County, Texas)
v. Town of Westlake v. City of Roanoke (Johnny's Automotive tract), Cause No. 2003-
20243-158 (158th Judicial District Court of Denton County, Texas)
vi. Boundary issue with Town of Trophy Club.
B. The Board will conduct a closed session under Texas Government Code section 551.074 to
discuss personnel matters.
C. Reconvene into open meeting.
3. Take necessary action with respect to Item 42 above.
4. Citizens' Presentations: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the Board on any matter
whether or not it is posted on the agenda. The Board cannot by law take action nor have any
discussion or deliberations on any presentation made to the Board at this time concerning an item
not listed on the agenda. Any item presented may be noticed on a future agenda for deliberation or
action.

5. Consider a Resolution of the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas ratifying a
telecommunications lease of space on the Keller/Westlake elevated storage facility to BelWave
Communications, Inc. for the installation of wireless internet equipment to serve the Town.
Consider a Resolution authorizing the amendment of the Bylaws of the Texas Student Housing
Authority, the Texas Student Housing Corporation, the Texas Student Housing Corporation --- San
Marcos Project, the Texas Student Housing Corporation — Denton Project, the Texas Student.
Housing Corporation — MSU Project, the Texas Student Housing Corporation— College Station
Project, the Texas Charter School Corporation — LTl`S Charter School, Inc. Project, and the Texas
Charter School Corporation —New Frontiers Charter School, Inc. Project, and resolving related
matters.
7. Consider a Resolution approving an amendment of the Articles of Incorporation and the Bylaws
for the Westlake Academy Foundation, and resolving related matters.
8. Consent Agenda: All items listed below are considered routine by the Board of Aldermen and will
be enacted with one motion. There will be no separate discussion of items unless a Board member
or citizen so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the general order of business
and considered in its normal sequence.
A. Review and approve minutes of the workshop and regular meeting held on April 26, 2004.
B. Review and approve any outstanding bills.
9. Adjournment.

551 of the Texas Government Code.
