NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING WEC� �=E
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas, will meet at 7:00
p.m. on Monday, March 22, 2004, in the Boardroom of the Town Hall, located at 2650 J.T. Ottinger
Road, in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The Board will consider the following agenda:
1. Meeting called to order and announce a quorum.
2. EXECUTIVE SESSION.
A. The Board will conduct a closed session under Texas Government Code section 551.071 to
seek advice of counsel on legal matters involving pending or contemplated litigation,
settlement offers, or other legal matters not related directly to litigation or settlement.
Pending or contemplated litigation and settlement offers include but are not limited to the
following:
i. City of Roanoke v. Town of Westlake, Cause No. 02 -01 -00290 -CV (Second Court of
Appeals)
ii. Sherry Gray v. Henry Barry, et al., Cause No. 153 -184584 00 (153rd Judicial District
Court of Tarrant County, Texas)
iii. Gray v. Town of Westlake and Town of Westlake Zoning Board ofAdjustment, Cause
No. 02 -02 -00173 -CV (Second Court of Appeals)
iv. Kennel Kare, Inc. and Sherry Gray v. Town of Westlake Zoning Board ofAdjustment,
Cause No. 153-194580-02 (District Court of Tarrant County, Texas)
v. Town of Westlake v. City of Roanoke (Johnny's Automotive trac), Cause No. 2003-
20243-158 (158th Judicial District Court of Denton County, Texas)
vi. Weyerhaeuser Company DIBIA Trus Joist v. Town of Westlake, Manhattan Construction
Company, L.P., and Better Builders -Dallas, Inc., Cause No 048-20340 7-03 (District Court
of Tarrant Count, Texas)
vii. Boundary issue with Town of Trophy Club.
B. The Board will conduct a closed session under Texas Government Code section 551.074 to
discuss personnel matters.
C. Reconvene into open meeting.
3. Take necessary action with respect to Item #2 above.

4. Citizens' Presentations: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the Board on any matter
whether or not it is posted on the agenda. The Board cannot by law take action nor have any
discussion or deliberations on any presentation made to the Board at this time concerning an item
not listed on the agenda. Any item presented may be noticed on a future agenda for deliberation or
action.
5. Consider a Resolution authorizing the Town Manager to renew an Interlocal Agreement with the
City of Southlake for Fire Inspection Services.
6. Conduct a Public Hearing and consider an Ordinance approving an application for a specific use
permit for a private water well to be located at 1730 J.T. Ottinger Road.
7. Consider an Ordinance amending the Engineering Standards to adjust the pro rata share of
building permit fees related to repayment of duct bank construction expense to 'Vaquero
subdivision.
8. Continue a Public Hearing and consider an Ordinance approving an amendment to the
Comprehensive Plan to adopt a new Land Use Map.
9. Continue a Public Hearing and consider an Ordinance approving an amendment to the zoning and
approval of a concept plan for PD -3-44.
10. Continue a Public Hearing and consider an Ordinance approving an amendment to the zoning for
PD -3-5.
11. Conduct a Public Hearing and consider an Ordinance approving an amendment to the zoning for
PD -3-3-
12. Consent Agenda: All items listed below are considered routine by the Board of Aldermen and will
be enacted with one motion. There will be no separate discussion of items unless a Board member
or citizen so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the general order of business
and considered in its normal sequence.
A. Review and approve minutes of the regular meeting held on March 8, 2004 and the workshop
held on March 9, 2004.
B. Review and approve any outstanding bills.
13. Adjournment.
