NOTICE OF SPECIAL EMERGENCY MEETING WtSTAE
PURSUANT TO SECTION 551.045 OF THE TEXAS
GOVERNMENT CODE
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of Westlake, Texas, will meet in a
special emergency meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, 2004, in the Boardroom of the
Town Hall, located at 2650 J.T. Ottinger Road, in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The Board will
consider the following agenda:
1. Meeting called to order and announce a quorum.
2. Consider an Ordinance establishing anew speed limit on SH 114 per new speed study and
recommendation by the Texas Department of Transportation.
�. Adjournment.
The urgent public necessity for this emergency meeting is the necesity to safeguard the public
health and safety from an imminent threat caused by an unforeseeable situation.

I certify that the above notice was posted at the Westlake Town Hall, 2650 J.T. Ottinger Road,
Westlake, Texas, on Thursday, February 26, 2004, at 4:00 p.m., under the Open Meetings Act, Chapter
551 of the Texas Government Code.

The Board of Aldermen may at any time convene into executive session as authorized by Chapter 551 of
the Texas Government Code to discuss any item posted on the agenda.
