Please consider this letter notice of resignation from my positions as Mayor Pro -Tem of the Town of
Westlake and Trustee of the Board of Trustees of Westlake Academy, effective August 5, 2010.
It has been a privilege to serve the Town of Westlake, its residents, its Academy families, my fellow
council members and town staff. I have learned much from this experience and will treasure it always.
I have great confidence in the future of Westlake and the Academy. Both are in the good hands of
people who are committed to good works, vibrant community and quality education. It has been a joy
to be a part of Westlake.
