MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
TEXAS STUDENT HOUSING CORPORATION — DENTON PROJECT
HELD
DECEMBER 15, 2015
AT
3 VILLAGE CIRCLE
COUNCIL CHAMBER, 2ND FLOOR
WESTLAKE, TEXAS 76262
PRESENT: Board Members Scott Bradley, Bryant Fisher, Tracy Schornack, Trish
Howard, and Mark Harrow
ABSENT: Board Member Gregg Malone
OTHERS PRESENT: None
1. CALL TO ORDER.
President Bradley called the meeting to order at 8:12 p.m.
2. CONSIDER AND TAKE ACTION TO ACCEPT THE SECRETARY'S RESIGNATION
AND TO APPOINT TRISH HOWARD AS THE SUCCESSOR TO THE OFFICE.
Motion: Director Fisher made a motion to accept the resignation of Tracy
Schornack as Secretary of the Corporation and to appoint Trish Howard
as her successor. Director Schornack seconded the motion. Motion carried
by a vote of 5-0.
3. REVIEW AND APPROVE MINUTES FOR THE MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 12,
2015.
Motion: Director Schornack made a motion to approve the minutes of
the November 12, 2015 meeting of the Board of Directors. Director Fisher
seconded the motion. Motion carried by a vote of 5-0.
4. RECEIVE REPORT FROM THE AUDITORS, WEAVER TIDWELL, LLC FOR FISCAL
YEAR 2015.
This report was received by the Board in the Texas Student Housing
Authority board meeting held immediately prior to this meeting - no
action necessary.
5. CONSIDER AND TAKE ACTION CONCERNING FUTURE OPERATIONS OF THE
DENTON PROJECT.
No action necessary.
6. RECEIVE A REPORT FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR CONCERNING THE SITE
VISIT TO THE DENTON PROJECT BY BOARD MEMBERS SCHORNACK, HARROW
AND FISHER.
7. ADJOURN
Director Schornack reported on the visit to the Corporation's property in
Denton, Texas by Executive Director Schornack and Directors Harrow and
Fisher. She stated that the property appears to be doing well and appears
to have no issues that need to be addressed by the Board.
No action necessary.
All agenda items having been acted upon, President Bradley adjourned
the meeting at 8:18 p.m.
