Minutes for May 18, 2001
Present: Steve S., Ruby, Mary, Steve T., Tom, Wanda
Absent: Joyce, Allen, David, Kelly
1. Ruby to ask Maxine Moren to join the Board.
2. 2006 will be the 50th Anniversary of Westlake. We should
start thinking about a Special Edition now.
3. Start taking any museum items from anyone who will donate.
4. Steve Thornton has a friend in Chico who has a log cabin
presently at the Civic Center. If someone would donate
approximately $2000 for the much needed cleaning and repairs,
they might be willing to donate it to the Board.
5. Remind all of June 1 Fidelity Presentation.
6. Question was ask if we should recognize Fidelity at the
presentation or wait. It was decided to wait and send
a thank you letter later.
7. Steve S. will take pictures of Dale Whites house before
being demolished.
8. Target for Journal...draft by July...final in October.
9. Next meeting June 15 and do not forget June 1.
