BOARD MEETING
JUNE 18, 2007
PRESENT: President Kelly Bradley and Board Members Allen Heath, Stephen
Thornton, Sharon Sanden, Kim Sutter, and Jack Wiesman.
ABSENT: Kristi Layton
OTHERS
PRESENT: Vickey Smith.
1. CALL TO ORDER
President Kelly Bradley called the meeting to order at 6:11 p.m.
2. TREASURER'S REPORT
In the absence of Kristi Layton, Vickey Smith advised that a report dated May 31,
2007, indicates a balance of $17,671.84 for the 2006/2007 budget year.
3. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF MINUTES — APRIL 30, 2007, AND MAY 21, 2007,
MEETINGS.
President Bradley introduced the item arA asked for a motion.
MOTION: Member Sanden made a motion to approve the minutes of the April
30, 2007, meeting. Member Heath seconded the motion. The
motion carried unanimously.
MOTION: Member Heath made a motion to approve the minutes of the May
21, 2007, meeting. President Bradley seconded the motion. The
motion carried unanimously.
4. DISCUSS DECORATION DAY EVENT
Vickey Smith advised that the projected attendance for the Decoration Day event
was 125, and despite the inclement weather, the event was well attended. She
reported that the entertainment, ice cream, and hot dogs were a success with the
attendees.

5. HEAR REPORT ON STATUS OF HISTORY BOOK
Discussion regarding this item was held during the President's report.
6. PRESIDENT'S REPORT
President Bradley presented the Board with a proposal for the September 8,
2007, event. She advised that the history book will not be completed in time for
release at this event.
The Board discussed the need to have a hard copy of the history book included
in the time capsule, even if not in the completed form.
MOTION: Member Thornton made a motion to postpone the annual meeting
to correlate with the museum opening and the release of the history
book. Member Heath seconded the motion. The motion carried
unanimously.
MOTION: Member Wiesman made a motion to hold an event on Saturday,
September 8, 2007, to seal the time capsule and present the
reenactment and transfer of the cemetery title to the Town with the
title of the event to be determined at a later date. Member
Thornton seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
Vickey Smith agreed to serve as the chairperson for the September 8, 2007,
event.
Member Heath advised that the stage is in need of repair, and the cost is
expected to be approximately $100.00.
President Bradley advised that she will co-chair the event for the museum
opening.
Member Thornton advised that he would participate as a committee member for
the museum event.
7. HEAR REPORT ON STATUS OF MUSEUM AND SITE
President Bradley advised that the Board will tour the museum space upon
adjournment of the meeting.
President Bradley advised that sponsorship opportunities will be available for the
museum.

Member Sanden advised that the next time capsule committee meeting will be
held in August.
9. ADJOURNMENT
Due to conflicts with schedules, the next meeting will be held on Thursday,
August 9, 2007.
There being no further business to come before the Board, President Bradley
asked for a motion to adjourn.
MOTION: Member Thornton moved to adjourn the meeting. Member
Wiesman seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously.
The meeting adjourned at 7:22 p.m.
