PRESENT: President Sharon Sanden, Kristi Layton, Joyce Roach, Bert Schultz, Karen Stoltenberg, Sarah

1. CALL TO ORDER.
President Sanden called the meeting to order at 1:38 p.m.
2. REVIEW AND APPROVE MINUTES OF THE WHPS MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 4, 2010.
Member Stoltenberg read the minutes. President Sanden asked for a motion.
MOTION: Member Schultz made a motion to approve the minutes. Member Layton seconded
the motion. The motion carried.
3. REVIEW AND APPROVE THE TREASURER'S REPORT
Member Layton read the Treasurer's report. President Sanden asked for a motion.
Motion: Member Stoltenberg made a motion to approve the Treasurer's report. Member
Schultz seconded the motion. The motion carried.
4. UPCOMING EVENTS
a) Decoration Day
President Sanden discussed Decoration Day, and mentioned that we all need to be
thinking of who can be sponsors. She estimated that we would need $2000. We plan
on having the following events/people back: the Liberty Bell, Dr. Zin, the Air Force fly
over, and Major Johnson. Other expenses include the Master of Ceremonies and
posters, invitations, and programs for the event.
b) Memorial Markers
Member Schultz brought up the idea of installing memorial markers in Westlake. He
thought we could do one a year, with the first being the Fireplace on Tim Brittan's land.
He agreed to do the research and look into getting the marker made. Member
Stoltenberg agreed to set up a meeting with Tim Brittan to discuss the idea. Two other
possible markers were mentioned: the stagecoach stop and the Thrasher house.
c) Antique Car Show
Member Schultz also brought up the idea of doing an antique car show. He will
investigate the idea further.
d) Walk By Windows
We talked about doing these quarterly and asking the members if they have something
to contribute/something for us to consider putting up.

President Sanden asked for a motion to adjourn the meeting.
MOTION: Member Stoltenberg made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Member Schultz
seconded the motion. The motion carried.
President Sanden adjourned the meeting at 3:20 P.M.
