NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON
PROPOSED FINANCING BY THE
TEXAS STUDENT HOUSING CORPORATION
WESTLAKE, TEXAS
Notice is hereby given that the Texas Student Housing Corporation, an instrumentality
of the Town of Westlake, Texas (the Fuer) will hold a public hearing on the application of
Wiley College (the Applicant), a Texas non-profit corporation which is exempt from taxation
under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and having its
principal place of business at 711 Wiley Avenue, Marshall, Texas 75670. The Applicant has
requested the Issuer to enter into a qualified 501(c)(3) lease purchase obligation (the Lease
Purchase Agreement) pursuant to the Higher Education Authority Act and the Public Property
Finance Act, in a principal amount up to $800,000 to assist the Applicant in fiiaaneing or
refinancing the acquisition, development and installation of energy conservation equipment and
computer equipment (the Project). The Project will be located in or at the Applicant's
educational facilities generally located at or near 711 Wiley Avenue, Marshall, Texas 75670.
The public hearing, which may be continued or adjourned, will be held at 3:30 p.m. on
Monday, August 12, 1996 before the Issuer or a hearing examiner appointed by the Issuer, in
the Westlake Town Fall, 3 Village Circle, Suite 207, Solana, Westlake Texas 76262. The
Lease purchase Agreement will not pledge the faith and credit or the taking power of the Town
of Westlake or the issuer, but will be payable solely from revenues derived from the Applicant Is,
and pledges thereof. Any person interested in the issuance of the Lease Purchase Agreement
or the location or nature of the Project may appear and be heard or may submit written
comments to the Issuer at the issuer's business office. Information supplied by the Applicant
to the Issuer may be inspected during business hours at the Issuer's business office at Westlake
Town Hall, 3 Village Circle, Suite 207, Solana,, Westlake, Texas 76262.
