WESTLAKE PUBLIC ART SOCIETY MEETING
May 23, 2012
Present: Bryan Biddle, Kelly Cox, Trish Biddle
Absent: Amelia Johnson, Gail James, Leah Rennhack, Debra Hale

1. CALL TO ORDER
Meeting was called to order by President Biddle at 7:30 pm.
2. REVIEW AND APPROVE THE MINUTES FROM THE MARCH 28, 2012 MEETING

3. REVIEW AND DISCUSS VIDEOGRAPHER FUNDING FRO WA DP STUDENTS

4. REVIEW AND DISCUSS WESTLAKE HISTORICAL SOCIETY CAR SHOW FOR OCTOBER
Burt Shultz, President of the Westlake Historical Society was present to discuss WPAS participation with their annual Car
Show. Director Trish is working on a painting for the event. Ideas were 1909-1959 range cars. Last year was the first year
and a huge success. 100 cars expected, WWII military club. Event ideas included: fashion, dancers, music, children activities,
wine pull, Concorde de Elegance, acrylic awards, $20 entry fee, poster, t -shirts, photographer, trading cards, key chains. No
motion made.
5. REVIEW AND DISCUSS THE TREASURER'S REPORT
Previously, Director Johnson reported in her reported a $4,235 balance as of 4/25/2012 from funds provided by the Town
of Westlake for the 2012 fiscal year 10/1/11-9/30/12. No motion was made.
6. DISCUSS AND SCHEDULE NEXT MEETING
Discussed items to place on next meeting's Agenda: Videographer Funding/Art Scholarship/Car Show participation. May
23, 2012, 7:OOpm at the Solana Marriot Lounge will be the next tentative meeting date for WPAS.
7. ADJOURN
Motion made by Director Biddle to adjourn meeting, seconded by Director Cox.
President B. Biddle adjourned the meeting at 8:45 pm.
