Item#1: Mr. He�d called the meeting to order at 6:32 p.m. by annauncing a quarum of Mr. Frey, Mr.
Sparrow, Mr. Brown and himself.
Itenri #2: cond�xct a Public Hearing to consider app�ication V-02-04 fi�ed by the "I'owr�requesting a variance
regarding the time restriction an a temporary sixucture far the Westlake�'irelReseue. 11�r. Petty explained
this item and introduced Greg Tuek�r,the Town"s Emergency Services Coordinatc�r. Mr. Petty told the
Board that the Tawn had received a letter from Dr. Joseph Bonola and his wife. The l�tter was entered inta
the record. Mr. Petty then add�essed sorne of the issues raised in the letter. The public hearing was opened at
6:32�.m. Dr. Bonola of 1109 Srrrietl�wicic Cove in Keller, stated that he owns the adjoining property and
spoke in opposition. After a lengthy discussion the public hearing was closed at 7:01 p.m. There was a
motian by Mr. Sparrow, seconded by Mr. Frey,to fnd that a hardship exists and thus approve the variance
request for a two year tirrte period but with the s�ipulation that staff come back to the Board of Aldermen at
the end of one year with a definite p�an far a permanent saiution after th�two year time period has expired.
There was no discussion and t�e mation carri�d unanimously.
Item#3: Motion by Mr. Frey, seeonded by Mr. Sp�rrow, ta adjourn. The motion carried unanimously and
the m�eting adjourned at 7:02 p.m.
