MINUTES OF THE MEETING
OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
WESTLAKE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
August 1-1, 2001

Item #1: Mayor Bradley called the meeting to order at 7:05p.m. by announein€; a quorum consisting of Mr.
David Brown, Mr. Buddy Brown, Mr. Redding, Dr. Bonola and himself.
ern #2: Conduct a Public Hearing to consider approving an expenditure ole 4B sales tax funds in an
,mount not to exceed $200,000.00 for bridge enhancements on the overpasses on SH 114, in furtherance on
the economic development projects of the Tow« as authorized in Section 4B of the Texas Revised Civil
Statutes, Ann. Sec. 5190.6. Mr. Petty, the Town Manager gave the background on this item. The Public
Hearing was opened at 7:08p.m. No one wished to address the Board and the Public Hearing was closed.
Motion by Mr. David Brown, seconded by Mr. Redding, to approve this inc eased expenditure. After a short
question and answer session the motion carried unanimously.
Item #3: Conduct a Public Hearing to consider- approving the expenditure of 4B sales tax funds in an
amount not to exceed $125,000.00 for Capital Projects - GlenWyck Farms waterline, in furtherance of the
economic development projects of the Town a: authorized in Section 4B of .he Texas Revised Civil
Statutes, Ann. Sec. 5190.6. Mr. Petty, the ToNArat Manager gave the background on this item. The Public
Hearing was opened at 7:16 p.m. No one wished to address the Board and the Public Hearing was closed.
Motion by Mr. Redding, seconded by Dr. Bon( -,la, to approve this expenditure. The motion carried
unanimously.
Item #4: Motion by Mr. Redding, seconded by Mr. Buddy Brown, to adjourn. The motion carried
unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:18 p.m.
