NOTICE OF MEETING
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Town of Westlake, Texas, will meet
at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at 2650 J.T. Ottinger Road, in the Town of Westlake, Texas.
The Board will consider the following agenda:
1. Meeting called to order and announce a quorum.
2. Review and approve minutes of the meeting held on November 25, 2002.
3. Consider and take any appropriate action regarding an application filed by Castlegate Homes
requesting a side yard setback variance for a home being built at 2006 Navasota Cove in Vaquero.
4. Consider and take any appropriate action regarding an application filed by Castlegate Homes
requesting a side yard setback variance for a home being built at 2004 White Wing Cove in
Vaquero.
5. Consider and take any appropriate action regarding an application filed by Castlegate Homes
requesting a side yard setback variance for a home being built at 2002 White Wing Cove in
Vaquero.
6. Adj ournment.

OF THE ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
November 25, 2002
Present: Don Redding, Chairman
Buddy Brown, Member
Bill Frey, Member

Ginger Crosswy, Town Secretary
Absent: Fred Held, Member
Item #1:Chairman Redding called the meeting to order at 6:47 p.m. by announcing a quorum, consisting of Mr.
Brown, Mr. Frey, Mr. Sparrow and himself.
Item #2: Review and approve the minutes of the meetings held on August 12, 2002. There was a motion by Mr.
Brown, seconded by Mr. Sparrow, to approve the minutes as presented. There was no discussion and the motion
carried unanimously.
Item 43: Consider extending the time for a temporary structure at 10 Paigebrooke Lane in Westlake. After a short
discussion of this item there was a motion by Mr. Frey, seconded by Mr. Brown, to extend the time for a temporary
structure at 10 Paigebrooke Lane for two (2) years. There was no further discussion and the motion carried
unanimously.
Item #4: There was a motion by Mr. Sparrow, seconded by Mr. Brown, to adjourn. There was no discussion and the
motion carried unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:52 p.m.

The applicant has requested a variance to the Town's standard side yard setback for 2006
Navasota Cove. The request is to reduce the side yard from 20 feet to 15 feet. The home
construction is 90% complete on this lot.
The request on Cases 2 and 3 is to reduce the side yard setback from 20 feet to 15 feet, also.
However, in these cases, the request is for a variance to the approved PD for the subdivision.
The homes for these lots have been designed, but construction has not begun.
