NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND MEETING
OF THE
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
TO THE CITIZENS OF T HE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that there will be a public hearing and meeting held at 4:30 p.m.
on Friday November 22, 1996, at the Westlake Town Hall, 3 Village Circle, Suite 207,
Westlake, Texas, addressing the concerns of the property owners of the Town of
Westlake regarding the following items. Also the Public Hearing and Meeting of the
Planning and Zoning Commission of the Town of Westlake, Texas, scheduled for 6:00
p.m. on September 16, 1996, 6:00 p.m. on September 30, 1996, 4:00 p.m. on October 11,
1996, 4:30 p.m. on November 1, 1996, and 5:00 p.m. on November 11, 1996 will
reconvene at this time to consider the following revisions to the Westlake Unified
Development Code:
1. Amendments to Article XIII "Platting" including provisions for public
improvements, drainage and floodplain requirements; and
2. Amendments to Article XIV including changes to the Planned Development
("PD") District requirements.
I Consider the rezoning of certain tracts of land from the R-40 "Estate
Residential" zone to R-200 "Country Residential" zone. The existing R-200
"Country Residential"zone of the Shelby Estates on the tracts are situated east
of Pearson Lane and south of Dove Road and border the north and east.
4. Consider the revised thoroughfare plan.

I certify that the above notice was posted on the front door of the Town Hall of the Town
of Westlake, 3 Village Circle, Suite 207, Solaria, Westlake, Texas, on Monday,
November 18, 1996 at 1:00 p.m. under the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas
Government Code.
