PRESENT: President Bert Schultz, Megan Brady, Jim Budarf, Karen Stoltenberg, Stephen Thornton
OTHERS PRESENT: Ginger Awtry
1. CALLTOORDER.
President Schultz called the meeting to order at 1:30 P.M.
2. MEETING MINUTES AND ACTION ITEM LIST
Member Stoltenberg reviewed the minutes, and President Schultz reviewed the action items.
One copy of the DUDS and Books of the past events will be kept in the museum and one copy in
the Town offices in the Town secretary's official file. President Schultz commended Member
Brady on her hard work for the post cards and note cards. President Schultz's neighbor is
unable to accept a position at this time. President Schultz recommended that all Board
members be actively thinking and recruiting potential new members.
MOTION: Member Budarf made a motion to approve the minutes. Member Brady seconded
the motion. The motion carried.
3. TREASURER'S REPORT
Treasurer's report was tabled.
4. MEMBERSHIP REPORT

6. COMMITTEE REPORTS
a) Museum BOD Expansion — President Schultz handed out some applications.
Member Stoltenberg will follow up with Dolores Harding.
b) WA Jit Historian Program —Summer Sherrod is heading it up. The first meeting
had 15 kids, and the focused on what their structure would be. They will meet
twice a month (1" and 3rd Mondays 3:15 to 4:15.) The second meeting was about
cars and how they have changed through the years. The next meeting will be
about Halloween fables. Member Brady will follow up with Mr. McCarthy about
Summer Sherrod attending our meetings.
c) 4Q Museum Window Exhibit — President Schultz met with the art teachers at
Westlake Academy, and they will provide on an annual basis DP art for January,
MYP art for February, and PYP art for March.
d) 2012 Westlake Classic Car Show — We went over the action item list for the car
show. Trish Biddle will be selling posters and coffee mugs with her original
painting of the Westlake Car show. Ms. Awtry will print the numbers and
Member Stoltenberg will laminate them and get them to Stephen.
e) Fall Living History Presentation — Megan will mail the postcards, and Karen will
past the flyers. Northeast Tarrant Chamber of Commerce will send an eblast
about this event and the car show.
f) 2012 General Membership Meeting— President Schultz will ask Kelly and Scott
Bradley to host the General Membership Meeting on January 17, 2013 at
Paigebrooke.
7. TROPHY CLUB PARTICIPATION
Member Budarf is trying to recruit another Trophy Club member, and is hopeful that she
will be in charge of getting more Trophy Club residents to participate. He would also like to
get a JR Historian program started in Trophy Club. Member Budarf will meet with the town
manager about getting our flyers in a Trophy Club eblast or on their website.
8. NEXT WHPS BOARD MEETING DATE
The next meeting will be held Monday, November 26 at 1:30 p.m. at the Museum.
9. NEW BUSINESS
Member Thornton brought up a stake with a chain and a lock to be able to attach the signs,
so they won't be stolen. President Schultz and Member Thornton will discuss the possibility
of us using these items with Jarrod Greenwood.
10. ADJOURNMENT
President Schultz adjourned the meeting at 3:00 p.m.
