Consider a resolution adopting an amendment to the 2004 – 2005 Parent/Student
Handbook.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval.
BACKGROUND:
The Parent/Student Handbook did not contemplate any changes to the uniform for cold
weather. This amendment specifies the acceptable addition of leg wear for female
students during cold weather, as the following:
Girls in Grades 1 - 7 may wear, if desired, fitted, footed white tights available
from Parker Uniforms with their dress uniforms during the winter months.
Girls in Grades 1 – 5 may wear, if desired, fitted, footed white tights available
from Parker Uniforms with their casual uniforms.
