Consider a resolution adopting a Westlake Academy Investment Policy.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Staff recommends approval.
BACKGROUND
Chapter 2256 of the Government Code, commonly known as the “Public Funds Investment Act”
requires the Academy to adopt an investment policy by rule, order, ordinance or resolution.
Debbie Piper, Finance Director for the Town, has completed the required Investment Training
required by this act. The adoption and adherence to the attached policy is recommended.
