NOTICE OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING wzcysA�XE
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the School Board of the Westlake Academy will meet at 6:30 p.m. on
Monday,February 9,2004, in the Boardroom of the Town Fall, located at 2650 J.T. Ottinger Road, in
the Town of Westlake, Texas. The Board will consider the following agenda:
1. Meeting called to order and announce a quorum.
2. EXECUTIVE SESSION.
A. The Board will conduct a closed session under Texas Government Code section 551.074 to
discuss personnel matters.
B. Reconvene into open meeting.
3. Take necessary action with respect to Item 42 above.
4. Citizens' Presentation: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the School Board on any
matter whether or not it is posted on the agenda. The Board cannot by law take action nor have
any discussion or deliberations on any presentation made to the Board at this time concerning an
item not listed on the agenda. Any item presented may be noticed on a fixture agenda for
deliberation or action.
5. Consider a Resolution adopting a School Calendar and a longer school day for the 2004-05
academic year..
6. Consider a Resolution authorizing Westlake Academy to present a waiver for special
considerations.
7. Review and approve minutes from the meeting held on January 12, 2004.
8. Adjourn.

Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.

The Board may at any time convene into executive session as authorized by Chapter 551 of the Texas
Government Code to discuss any item posted on the agenda.
