NOTICE OF SCHOOL BOARD MEETING �
TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the School Board of the Westlake Academy,will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Monday,
August 11, 2003, in the Marriott Solana, located at 5 Village Circle, in the Town of Westlake, Texas. The
Board will consider the following agenda:
1. Meeting called to order and announce a quorum.
2. Citizens' Presentation: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the School Board on any matter
whether or not it is posted on the agenda. The Board cannot by law take action nor have any
discussion or deliberations on any presentation made to the Board at this time concerning an item not
listed on the agenda. Any item presented may be noticed on a future agenda for deliberation or action.
3. Review and approve minutes from the meetings held on July 28, 2003.
4. Hear a presentation by the Head of School concerning the development of the House System within
Westlake Academy.
5. Consider a Resolution regarding insurance providers for the Academy.
6. Adjourn.

Village Circle, Suite 207, Westlake, Texas, on Friday,August 8, 2003, at 5:00 p.m., under the Open
Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.

Government Code to discuss any item posted on the agenda.
