TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the School Board of the Westlake Academy, will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday,
July 28, 2003, in Rooms 1 &2 of the Education Center, 3 Village Circle, in the Town of Westlake, Texas.
The Board will consider the following agenda:
1. Meeting called to order and announce a quorum.
2. Citizens' Presentation: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the School Board on any matter
whether or not it is posted on the agenda. The Board cannot by law tape action nor have any
discussion or deliberations on any presentation made to the Board at this time concerning an item not
listed on the agenda. Any item presented may be noticed on a future agenda for deliberation or action.
3. Review and approve minutes from the meetings held on June 23, 2003.
4. Consider a Resolution to authorize the CEO to enter into contracts with teachers for the 2003104
school year.
5. Consider a Resolution authorizing the Westlake Academy participation in the University
Interscholastic League.
6. Consider a Resolution establishing the threshold for capitalization of assets at$5,000.00.
7. Adjourn.

Village Circle, Suite 207, Westlake, Texas, on Friday, July 25, 2003, at 5:00 p.m., under the Open Meetings
Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.

The Board may at any time convene into executive session as authorized by Chapter 551 of the Texas
Government Code to discuss any item posted on the agenda.
