TO THE CITIZENS OF THE TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS:
Notice is hereby given that the School Board of the Westlake Academy, will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday,
June 23,2003, in Rooms 1 & 2 of the Education Center, 3 Village Circle, in the Town of Westlake, Texas.
The Board will consider the following agenda:
1. Meeting called to order and announce a quorum.
2. Citizens' Presentation: This is an opportunity for citizens to address the School Board on any matter
whether or not it is posted on the agenda. the Board cannot by law take action nor have any discussion
or deliberations on any prosentation made to the Board at this time concerning an item not listed on
the agenda. Any item presented may be noticed on a future agenda for deliberation or action.
3. Review and approve minutes from the meetings held on June 9, 2003 and June 16, 2003.
4. Consider a Resolution authorizing the CEO to enter into an interlocal agreement with the Region IV
Education Service Center to become a member of the purchasing cooperative.
5. Consider a Resolution authorizing the CEO to enter into a contract with Choice Point Services,Inc. to
conduct the national background checks on prospective teachers.
6. Adjourn.

Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code.

Government Code to discuss any item posted on the agenda.
