TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS
NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Aldermen of the Town of
Westlake, Texas will meet at 7: 00 p.m. on the 23rd day of May,
1990, at the Dudley Ranch in the Town of Westlake, Texas, for the
purpose of considering the following agenda:
1. Consider a Resolution authorizing the condemnation of
approximately 41.715 acres of land for highway right-of-way
in Tarrant and Denton counties.
2 . Consider a Resolution authorizing the condemnation of
approximately 0. 886 acres of land for highway right-of-way
and 2 . 359 acres for drainage easements in Denton County,
Texas.
3 . EXECUTIVE SESSION: The Board will convene in executive
session pursuant to Article 6252-17, Sections 2 (e) and 2 (f) ,
V.A.T.S. to:
a. Consult with its attorney in regard to the lawsuit
filed by R. Carter Pate, Liquidating Trustee against
the Town.

REASON FOR EMERGENCY: This meeting was scheduled and the board met
on May 7, 1990. The notice was prepared by the Town Attorney and mailed
to Sherry Dudley on May 16, 1990, but was not received until May 21,
1990, because of misplacement in the mail. Therefore 72 hour notice was
not given even though the meeting was already planned and scheduled.
