TOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS
MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING
OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
August 10, 2000
Present: Allen Heath, Vice Chairman
Stan Parchman, Member

Dan Boutwell, Town Planner

Absent: Bill Greenwood, Chairman
Trent Petty, Town Manager
Item #1 Vice Chairman Death opened the meeting at 7:30 p.m.
Item #2: Conduct a Public Hearing to consider adding private water wells as a specific use permit in
the comprehensive zoning ordinance of the Town. Vice Chairman Heath opened the public hearing at
7:30 p.m. by asking for comments from the staff. Dan Boutwell, the Town Planner gave the staff
recommendation of approval. As no one else wished to address the Commission regarding this matter
the Public Hearing was closed at 7:36 p.m. There was a motion by Commissioner Sanden, seconded
by Commissioner Barry, to recommend approval of this item to the Board of Aldermen.
The motion carried unanimously.
Item #3: Conduct a PUBLIC HEARING to consider an application for the replatting of 55.397 acres
located at 2 Fest Kirkwood Blvd. filed by Maguire Partners Solana Limited Partnership. Vice
Chairman Heath opened the Public Hearing at 7:40 p.m. by asking for comments from the staff. Dan
Boutwell, the Town Planner explained this item and gave the staff recommendation for approval.
Richard Kuhlman of Maguire Partners spoke for the applicant. There being no further testimony the
Public Hearing was closed at 7:52 p.m. There was a motion by Commissioner Barry, seconded by
Commissioner Parchman, to recommend approval of this matter, including the Reciprocal Access
Easement Parking Agreement and Restrictive Covenants along with Exhibit A, to the Board of
Aldermen.
The motion carried unanimously.
Item #4: Motion by Commissioner Barry, seconded by Commissioner Parchman, to adjourn.
The motion carried unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:57 p.m.
