MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING
OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION
July 10, 2003
Present: William E. Greenwood, Chairman
Allen Heath, Vice Chairman
Stan Parchman, Member
Sharon Sanden, Member
Matthew Boyle, Town Attorney
Ginger Crosswy, Town Secretary
Absent: Hank Barry, Member
Trent Petty, Town Manager
Item #1: Chairman Greenwood opened the meeting at 7:30 p.m.
Item #2: Review and approve minutes of the regular meeting held on May 15, 2003. Motion by
Commissioner Parchman, seconded by Commissioner Sanden, to approve the minutes as presented.
There was no discussion and the motion carried unanimously.
Item #3: Conduct a Public Hearing to consider a request for a Specific Use Permit to allow a private
water well to be located at 20 Wyck Hill Lane. Mr. Boyle explained this item to the Commission and
stated that staff recommends approval. Mr. Todd Handwerk was in attendance representing the property
owners and answered several questions. Chairman Greenwood opened the Public Hearing at 7:35 p.m.
No one wished to address the commission and there was a motion by Commissioner Heath, seconded by
Commissioner Sanden, to close the Public Hearing. There was no discussion and the motion carried
unanimously. There was a motion by Commissioner Heath, seconded by Commissioner Sanden, to
recommend approval of the SUP application to the Board of Aldermen. There was no discussion and the
motion carried unanimously.
Item #4: There was a motion by Commissioner Sanden, seconded by Commissioner Heath, to adjourn.
The motion carried unanimously and the meeting was adjourned at 7:37 p.m.
