HomeMy WebLinkAbout06-12-95 PZ MinTOWN OF WESTLAKE, TEXAS Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting, June 12, 1995 Present: Charla Bradshaw, B. J. Minyard, Randy Loftis; Town Attorney, Paul Isham; Town Engineer, Greg Edwards. The meeting of the Planning & Zoning Commission was called to order at 6:25 P.M. by Chairperson Charla Bradshaw to consider a plat filed by Troy K. Aikman for a 29.431 -acre tract of land in the Josea Walker Survey, Abstract No. 1604, to be known as Lot 1 of Block 8 of the Troy Aikman Addition to the Town of Westlake. Jim DeOtte, Vice President of Dunaway Associates, Inc., represented Mr. Aikman and responded to the issues brought up by Town Engineer, Greg Edwards, in his letter dated June 12, 1995 to the Board of Aldermen and the Planning & Zoning Commission. After discussion addressing various issues, a motion was made by Charla Bradshaw and seconded by Randy Loftis to approve the preliminary plat subject to the following items as outlined in the June 12 letter: Item #1: Access to the lot through a private access easement will be allowed only to the subject property. Item #la: The town attorney will review the easement document to ensure that required public access for police and fire protection are assured. Item #lb: Requirement for permanent access by public roads was deemed not necessary. Item #5: Water and sewer service needs only to appear on the preliminary plat as requested by Mr. DeOtte. Items #4-14: Must comply with all remaining issues. Motion carried unanimously. No other business was brought before the Planning & Zoning Commission. The meeting was adjourned at 7:08 P.M.
